Krabi is the eastern province of the Andaman Sea which includes the group of Phi Phi Islands, however, in this tour we try to avoid the Phi Phi crowds. Simba takes you to Phra Nang and the Railay peninsular - a land of incredible mountains, impenetrable forests and beautiful beaches only accessible by sea, though it is a peninsular it feels like an island.

Simba’s Krabi excursion concentrates on visiting the coastline and surrounding islands, Poda and Chicken Island. We snorkel or swim at the wonderful coral reef that runs along the length of Chicken Island. While we are on Chicken Island, at low tide we have the unique opportunity to walk across the sand bar to the adjoining island. At Pran Nang we visit the Princess’s Temple and the interesting story of its origin is told.

We aim to pickup you up from your hotel at 7am (this will be confirmed when you contact to inform of your arrival, hotel name, number, etc) and have you back at your hotel by 4:30pm.

This excursion is one of Simba's most popular trips, so book early. Please read our booking procedure if you're interested in booking

Pran Nang Beach - One of the most intoxicatingly beautiful beaches in Thailand, you can sit and relax or see the Princess's Cave. Limestone cliffs formed thousands of years ago have created a beachside cave. Left as a tribute to one of ancient Thailand's princess's, the cave-temple is now worshipped by many Thai fishermen. On your visit to Krabi, you'll learn the strange secret and history behind her cave.

Railay Beach – This hidden little gem is located on the Northeasten coast of Krabi, only accesable by boat. Simba takes you to this little beach community, giving you the time to enjoy the long beach/sandbars from island to island. Limestone cliffs completely surround the beach, isolating it from the mainland and keeping it clean and clear all year round. The emerald waters make it ideal for a warm water swim before moving on.

Secluded Beach Lunch - Through many years in Krabi, Simba has found an ideal, unnamed beach to serve our sumptuous picnic lunch. There is nothing that compares to our homemade lunch on your own, private beach!

Chicken Island – Uniquely named for the limstone formations clearly resembling a chicken, Chicken Island is a great opportunity to get close to the shear limestone cliffs and see this unique, natural piece of art. Chicken Island is also home to some spectacular coral reefs. Simba will take you safely over the reef for snorkelling or swimming to experience it for yourself.

Poda IslandJust a short cruise from Pran Nang Beach, Koh Poda, or 'Poda Island' is another isolated, beach island. Arriving at the right time and tide is Simba's key to avoiding the crowds. Timed correctly, Poda is deserted, leaving you with the long white beaches and Casuarina covered island all to yourselves. No trip to Thailand is complete without the 'castaway on a beach' feeling - and without a trip to Poda, you're missing out.

Rang Yai – This is normally the last stop on the way home for Simba. A picture perfect, white sandy beach island located just outside the Phang Nga national park, it's a great opportunity to swim, have afternoon tea/cakes and relax.
