Donna and me took this trip yesterday it was well worth it. Booked after reviews in TripAdvisor and does exactly what it says we arrived everywhere before the madding crowds. Crowd were made up of Americans French Greek and Brits good crowd we all love Americans Meet. by out guide Jane at Marina for tea coffee and light snack headed out to meet the 2 man crew and we were off to first stop to see sunrise at 06.40 then on to first island Bamboo for lovely light breakfast seen hermit crabs and 6ft plus monitor lizard, can't recall all the names of the islands but the setting for the film The Beach is most picturesque. 2 snorkelling stop and then fantastic lunch on last island which is only 15mins from Marina. Seemed expensive when booked but worth every penny. Can't fault it time flew by. Thanks again to Jane and the crew well and truly ticked my bucket list Read Less

Going earlier, watching the sunrise, and being the first boat on the islands was worth it. The trip also was very well organized with almost no waiting anywhere. I was told I will get picked up from my hotel at 5:05 and the bus was there at 5. The check-in at the office before boarding the boat was also quick. The guides were very nice and helpful. So even though there are cheaper trips, I would pick this one instead again. Definitely recommended. Read Less

Our group of 5 enjoyed this excursion greatly. Everything about this tour exceeded our expectations. The tour group was small, the boat was clean, the guides were helpful, funny and extremely informative. We enjoyed a wonderfully delicious breakfast when we arrived on the first island, and enjoyed spectacular views unobstructed by the large amounts of boats and tourists at all other islands. We had fantastic weather, calm seas and an absolute BLAST. We loved everything about this excursion and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book! Read Less
Phang Nga & Beyond
Tour Overview
Below is a sample itinerary and general overview of the places we visit on this trip.
Duration 7/8 hours on the water (approximately).
Like all of our day trips, ‘the early bird catches the worm’… and most importantly avoids the crowds! We aim to leave the Royal Phuket Marina by 7am – 7:15am.
Stop 1
Koh Phanak
Koh Phanak is often our first Phang Nga Bay stop for some intriguing cave exploration. Like Swiss cheese, Phanak is full of hidden caves, lagoons and hongs. We aim to select the very best location depending on the tide and weather on your day. So fire up your torches and step into a prehistoric world! Sightseeing is a strong suit of our tours since you will have the chance to see exclusive sights that not many people have seen in their lives.
Stop 2
Sea Canoeing
Koh Hong is a stunning location for a scenic canoe trip. It is simply the best way to see these Phang Nga Bay geological wonders up close and personal. Let the Thai guide take you into hongs and limestone caves only accessible by canoe. Cruise the waters on the canoes and marvel in the real beauty that has formed over hundreds of years, creating an amazing Thailand spectacle that will remain forever in your memory.
Stop 3
Koh Phing Kan and Koh Tapu (James Bond Island)
Arguably the most famous spot in Phang Nga Bay, it's been a Mecca for Thailand and Western tourists for over four decades, is the James Bond Island stop. You’ve come all this way and as Simba generally arrives well before the masses, we make a quick stop to see what all the fuss is about. This limestone marvel is perfect for you to take pictures.
Stop 4
Treasure Island / Secret Hong or Kadu Beach
Depending on weather conditions and currents we will stop at either Secret Hong (a fantastic hidden cave, only accessible by swimming through a narrow passage) or enjoy the peaceful surrounds of Kadu, a small secluded bay and beach near the top of Koh Yao Noi. It’s the perfect opportunity to cool off before we move across Phang Nga Bay to our lunch stop.
Stop 5
Koh Yao Noi
As described, a truly unique Thailand location, still holding fast to a traditional existence in the face of it’s bustling brother, Phuket. Our Phang Nga Bay journey takes a decidedly ‘terra firma’ turn, as we take a short trip across the south of the island to a stunning local Thai restaurant for a delicious Thai lunch.
Stop 6
Tropical Beach
The afternoon will allow us to guide you to any number of beautiful beaches depending on tide and weather conditions. This is a chance to swim, relax, read a book, or enjoy a light afternoon tea and sample the Phang Nga Bay limestone scenery before heading home.

The Phang Nga & Beyond tour includes…

Having traveled quite a bit, sometimes you just want to drop a review for a operator even if you did not take their service for just the correspondence and interactions you have with them. Same is my case for Simba Sea Trips. For Mr. Stewart Went. I was all set to take their trip coming March (2020). But due to the Corona Virus issue and bans from the Government, we have to cancel the trip. I am not writing this review as i was refunded in full but the way Mr. Stewart gave me information regarding the trip and in general, the customer care give is exception. I will definitely take the Thai trip again and I will surely book Simba. Thanks again for all the help and guidance. Read Less
SUNRISE PHANG NGA BAY & KOH PANYEE tour
Tour Overview
Below is a sample itinerary and general overview of the places we visit on this day trip.
Duration 6.5 hours on the water (approximately)
Again like all our trips we aim to depart early, earlier than any other operator in Phuket. This keeps us a few steps ahead of the crowds, so it is a 6:30 departure from Royal Phuket Marina to Phang Nga Bay. Enjoy the beautiful Thailand Sunrise over one of the most spectacular bays in the world. The sunrise at certain times of the year is prior to the departure time, and as such the sunrise experience cannot be guaranteed on all tours.
To give you the very best experience, our Phang Nga Bay adventure is very flexible. Factors such as the tide, avoiding the tourist swarm and giving you a day to remember, will all affect the order in which the program operates throughout the day.
Stop 1
Koh Phanak
Our first stop is Koh Phanak for site seeing and cave exploring. Don the hard hats and grab a torch, looking out for the wild monkeys and bats while on our way into the caves. We plan to visit the caves before other tour groups for exclusive sightseeing of this magnificent natural wonderland. On our return, breakfast will be waiting for us on the boat.
Stop 2
Koh Phing Kan and Koh Tapu/James Bond Island
We do stop our speedboats on this iconic island - guests tell us they have come a long way, so why would they not want to go ashore? We do generally arrive early and are able to take excellent photos well before the masses arrive to this popular, famous island. It is also a geological wonder as you will discover. With its tall limestone karsts, this natural marvel is the perfect spot for you to take photos.
Stop 3
Koh Panyee
The village on stilts, originally a settlement by nomadic Malay fisherman 200 years ago. Here our Thai guides will wind you through the boardwalks of this floating village whilst the locals are just starting their day. You will experience the sights and smells of Thai breakfast cooking as the local’s days are just getting underway. It’s a very interesting time of day and we will get to visit the local school and floating football pitch. It is a great opportunity to get behind-the-scenes in this fascinating community. Get your chance to meet the warm and friendly people of the area.
Stop 4
Mangroves Waterways Cruise
Here we explore the amazing ecosystem and hidden canals of the mangroves. These long, narrow canals wind their way to a secret cave where we can take the boat through and explore some more. Along the way we will also stop at an ancient rock painting that dates back more than 1000 years.
Stop 5
Koh Hong
We are then off to Koh Hong to explore the hidden caves via canoe, time to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery while your Thai paddle man does the hard work. This is one of the most relaxing experiences you will have, enjoying the breathtaking surroundings, enclosed in a dome of pure nature.
Stop 6
Relaxing Beach Stop
Koh Lawa or Koh Nakka Noi will be our last stop for a swim from the beach. This stop is highly recommended since there is time to relax, have a drink with fresh cut fruit and take in the vista, before heading back to Phuket.
Stop 7
Lunch with a Million dollar view
Enjoy a great Thai lunch at the marina restaurant overlooking Phuket's most beautiful marina.
